The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is coming into effect today.
What does it change for you?
Not much, we have updated our policy with a GDPR section. You can read it here. What does it mean for MYKU?
We are in the business of selling our timepieces. And not your data. We are a product and not a data company. Therefore, we want to be more transparent to you to let you know what kind of data we have and keep for us to analyze our operation processes.
What data does MYKU hold?
We are an eCommerce brand. We sell online, therefore when a visitor browses on our website, we use third-parties tools (such as Google Analytics) which allow us to understand the behavior of our online visitors. We cannot know anything personal about you. We only know you as a customer if you buy from us. You submit your details aka data just like you visit any shop and pay for your goods.
What do you do with these data?
Prior to buying, we use tags for advertising online. If you decide to purchase from us, we use your details to ship the goods to you, file the receipts for our internal finance and for fraud protection. Everything we keep, it is secure and for internal use. We will never sell or share your personal details.
How often does MYKU email?
We will only email when we have exciting news to share with you. We sent an email once every two weeks, sometimes once a month. Should you decide you no longer want to receive any news from us, you can simply unsubscribe from our newsletter easily.
Running a small business, we strive for our best to compete to provide you the best customer service. Every customer is a friend to us.
If you are on our mailing list and want to continue receiving news and updates, you don't need to do anything. We will be happy to hear from you. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us.
